Most roof problems start small. We find the source, fix it with materials that match your roof, and check around it for damage you cannot see from the ground.
Roof leak repair
We trace the leak to where it starts and fix that. Flashing, a cracked tile, a nail that backed out, a valley that has worn through. Then we check the area around it.
Storm damage repair
After a storm we get a tarp on first so the house stays dry. The permanent fix comes once the roof is dry enough to take material.
Tile, shingle and metal repair
Cracked or slipped tiles, missing shingles, loose metal panels, rusted flashing. We match the existing roof as closely as available material allows, and on older tile we show you the options before we start.

What happens when I call about a roof leak?
A person answers, 24 hours a day. We ask what you are seeing and where, and set a time to come out. If water is coming in during a storm, the first visit is about getting a tarp on. The permanent repair follows once the roof is dry.

How much does a roof repair cost?
It depends on what is wrong and how much of the roof is involved. The inspection is free, and you get photos of the problem and the repair price in writing before we start.

If the repair buys you years of good roof, we repair. If the underlayment is worn out across the roof, patching one spot will not stop the next leak, and we tell you so. The photos make the case either way.
Should I have my roof inspected?
Yes, before you buy or sell a house, after a big storm, and any time you see a stain on the ceiling. It is free, and you get the photos and our notes in writing.
Why is the stain not under the leak?
Water gets past the covering at a flashing, a valley, a cracked tile or a nail, then runs along the underlayment and the framing before it drips. On a tile roof it can travel a long way. We trace it from the stain back up to the entry point, so the repair goes where the water actually gets in.
What can a leak inspection not see?
The wood deck, and most of the underlayment under tile, stay hidden until the roof is opened around the leak. We say that in the report. If the repair uncovers rotten wood, we photograph it and you approve the extra work in writing first.
Can I get a roof certification letter after a repair?
Yes. After a repair or re-roof, we can provide a roof certification letter for your insurer when you ask for one.
Do you do roof maintenance?
We do. Resealing the flashing around vents and pipes, re-seating loose tiles, replacing cracked ones, clearing debris off the roof and out of the valleys. Call when you want it done and we come out.
