Molsbee Roofing puts roofs on new homes and new buildings across Palm Beach County. Custom homes, spec homes, additions, townhomes and commercial builds. We have worked with builders here since 1975, and we know what a superintendent needs from a roofer: show up on the day, dry it in fast, pass the inspection, hand over the paperwork.

New construction roofing, explained
Concrete and clay tile, standing seam metal, metal tile, architectural shingle, and TPO or modified bitumen for flat roofs. Molsbee is a GAF Certified Contractor, an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor and Carlisle-certified for TPO. We recommend by design and code, and we say why in writing.

Yes. That is standard. Underlayment goes on as soon as the deck passes, so nobody waits on the roof.
Every roof is fastened and sealed to the Florida Building Code for the wind-borne debris region, using approved products. The inspector sees the documentation on site.
The passed roofing inspections, the manufacturers' product warranty paperwork, our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty, and photos of the dry-in and the finished roof. If the owner's insurer asks, we can provide a roof certification letter.
It depends on the address. Many cities in the county, including West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Jupiter, run their own building departments; unincorporated lots go through Palm Beach County. The permit names the required roofing inspections, and we schedule and meet each one.
The deck fastening and sheathing, the roof-to-wall transitions, and the penetrations the other trades have left. Anything that needs attention before underlayment goes on is photographed and sent to your superintendent in writing.
It depends on the material and the season. Shingle and standard tile move quickly. Special-order tile and metal need lead time. Call with your dates and we tell you straight.
