Roofing for builders
New construction roofing since 1975.
Molsbee Roofing puts roofs on new homes and new buildings across Palm Beach County. Custom homes, spec homes, additions, townhomes and commercial builds. We have worked with builders here since 1975, and we know what a superintendent needs from a roofer: show up on the day, dry it in fast, pass the inspection, hand over the paperwork.
Send us the plans. We price the roof from the drawings, in writing, with the system we recommend and why. When the deck is ready we dry it in so your interior trades keep moving, then finish the roof on the schedule you gave us. Call (561) 318-8624. A person answers 24 hours a day.

What we roof
New construction roofing services.
From one custom home to a row of townhomes. Same standards on every lot.
Custom homes
Tile, metal and specialty roofs on estate and waterfront homes. We work from the architect's drawings and match the finish to the design.
Spec homes and townhomes
Several homes at once, on a production calendar. One person on our side runs every lot so the work looks the same on each.
Additions and remodels
Tying a new roof into an old one is where leaks start. We do the tie-in right the first time.
Commercial new builds
Flat and TPO roofs on offices, warehouses, clubs and plazas, built to the Florida Building Code.
Building in this county
Good to know about roofing a new build here.
- Wind rules drive the spec
Palm Beach County sits in the wind-borne debris region. Fastening, underlayment and product approvals follow the Florida Building Code, and the inspector checks them.
- Dry-in comes first
Once the deck is ready we get the underlayment on. Your interior trades can work in the rain while the finished roof waits its turn.
- Lead times are real
Tile and specialty metal are ordered to the job. Get us the plans early and we order early enough.
- Paperwork closes the job
County inspection, manufacturer warranty registration and our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty, all in the close-out packet for your CO and the homeowner's file.

New construction roofing, explained
Frequently asked questions.
What roofing systems do you install on new construction?
Concrete and clay tile, standing seam metal, metal tile, architectural shingle, and TPO or modified bitumen for flat roofs. We recommend by design, budget and code, and we say why.
Do you work with production builders?
Yes. Several lots at once on your calendar, with the same standards on each one. Tell us the schedule and we work around it.
Can you dry in before the finish roof?
Yes. That is standard. Underlayment goes on as soon as the deck passes, so nobody waits on the roof.
How do you handle the county wind requirements?
Every roof is fastened and sealed to the Florida Building Code for the wind-borne debris region, using approved products. The inspector sees the documentation on site.
What does the close-out include?
County inspection sign-off, the manufacturer warranty registered in the owner's name, our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty, and the photos.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the material and the season. Shingle and standard tile move quickly. Special-order tile and metal need lead time. Call with your dates and we tell you straight.
