Answer five quick questions about the property: home or commercial, size, number of stories, roof slope and the address. The estimator sizes the roof in roofing squares, the same unit we use in the field, and returns a price range for each of the five systems we install: shingle, concrete tile, clay tile, metal and flat. It takes about a minute.

It is a range, not a quote. The estimator sizes your roof from the square footage, story count and slope you enter, then applies the Palm Beach County labor and material ranges for each system. A written price needs a roofer on the roof: plywood condition, valleys, vents, tie-ins and the permit all move the number. The free inspection turns the range into an itemized price: a roofer checks the edges, valleys, flashings and covering, photographs what he finds, and notes what cannot be seen until the roof is opened, such as the wood deck.

The estimator is free and asks only for the property address, so we can confirm it is inside our service area, Jupiter to Boca Raton. The ranges appear on the page. If you want the written estimate, the form under the results sends the request to our office in Lake Worth Beach and we call you back to schedule the free inspection.

The visualizer puts a new roof on a photo of your own house so you can compare colors and materials before you decide. Use a daytime photo taken from the street or driveway that shows the whole roof, level with the house and without trees in the way. Phone photos work. Try tile, metal and shingle in several colors, then bring the one you like to the inspection.

Slope decides it. Shingle and tile need a pitched roof to shed water, so a flat or low-slope roof only shows the flat and metal systems. A steep roof is the opposite: the flat system drops out. If your roof has both pitched and flat sections, common on Palm Beach County homes with a flat addition or porch, run the estimator for the main slope and the inspection prices the rest.

Nothing unless you ask.
