Lifetime Workmanship WarrantyWhen a storm opens a Jupiter roof, we come out to stop the water, trace every point the wind or debris reached, and after a free inspection you receive photographs and a written repair price. Abacoa mixes tile, metal and shingle from one neighbourhood to the next, and near Admirals Cove, Jonathan's Landing and the Loxahatchee River the edges and fasteners take wind and salt together, so every repair is specified for the roof you actually have.

If rain is reaching a ceiling, the opening is sealed on the first visit with a temporary cover fixed to sound roofing around it, so the next gust cannot peel it back. The whole roof is then walked slope by slope, since a lifted ridge cap or panel edge rarely fails alone.
Nothing is moved before it is photographed. That cover only holds the roof until the permanent repair, which follows once you approve the scope and any permit is issued.
Abacoa alone has all three, and each shows storm damage differently. Tile cracks under flying branches and its ridge and hip pieces work loose, leaving the underlayment to shed the rain by itself.
A shingle can look flat yet have lost the seal that held it down, so we check tabs along the windward edges by hand. Metal gives at the trim, seams and fasteners where gusts catch a panel end.
Flat sections over lanais get their edges and any punctures checked, and each repair uses the existing material and profile so it blends in.
On the river, the Intracoastal and the beach, Jupiter roofs sit in the county's coastal wind band, and salt has often weakened the metal long before a storm arrives. After a blow at Admirals Cove or along the Loxahatchee we check the edge metal, flashings and tile attachment for movement, and we separate rust that was already there from damage the storm caused, so the repair fixes both and the record stays accurate.
A repair on the water is fastened to that coastal requirement, not the inland one.
Permanent repairs that need a permit go to the town through JCDS, where the inspections are booked too. If opening the roof shows wet deck or damage spreading across several slopes, the job can grow from a repair into a re-roof, and in Abacoa the architectural review letter then comes before the permit.

For work in Jupiter, confirm requirements with the building department responsible for the property and complete any required historic or HOA review before ordering materials or beginning work.
Jupiter runs its own building department on Military Trail, separate from the county, and everything goes through the Jupiter Community Development System: the re-roof permit, the documents and every inspection booking. The town also writes the working hours into its code: Monday to Friday 7 am to 8 pm, Saturday 8 am to 4 pm, and no work on Sundays.
Along the beach, the Intracoastal and the Loxahatchee River the design wind speed is 170 mph; inland it drops to 160 mph. The flood maps changed in December 2024, and the town says the new lines reach low-lying streets and canal and lake lots, not just A1A. On our re-roofs a self-adhered secondary water barrier is sealed to the deck before the new roof goes on.

Keep everyone off the roof and out from under any loose tile or trim. From the ground and indoors, photograph what you can see: tile or shingle in the yard, stains on the ceiling, water on the floor, and note when the water first appeared.
Move furniture and valuables from under any drip, then call us. In Admirals Cove, Jonathan's Landing or another gated community, give us the gate instructions and a name to ask for, and if water is coming in we arrive ready to dry the roof in on that first visit.
The price comes from what the inspection finds, not a phone estimate: how much moved, and how much water got under it. Reseating a few ridge caps on otherwise sound tile is modest work; cracked field tile with wet underlayment beneath, a soft deck, bent trim or damage on several slopes cost more.
On the water the coastal fastening requirement and the edge-metal grade also count. You have the price in writing before permanent work starts, and financing is available on approved credit.
Not always. Florida's quarter-roof rule: when more than a quarter of a roof system or section is repaired, replaced or recovered in any 12-month period, the roof covering across that entire system or section must be replaced or recovered to meet current code requirements.
An exception applies if that system or section was built, repaired or replaced in compliance with the 2007 Florida Building Code or a later edition: only the portion being repaired, replaced or recovered must meet applicable current code requirements.
