Boynton Beach (east) · Palm Beach County, Jupiter to Boca RatonMetal roof replacement in Boynton Beach
Metal roof installation is a growing Boynton Beach search, and the town has two good reasons for it. On the water, at Boynton Isles and Coquina Cove and along the Intracoastal toward the Inlet, the hidden galvanized metal under a tile roof rusts to lace in salt air; an aluminum standing-seam roof on stainless clips has nothing hidden to lose, sheds a squall instantly and holds in the wind off the water. Inland, in the postwar neighborhoods of Chapel Hill, Mission Hill and Forest Hills and around the lake at Lake Eden and the Hills at Lake Eden in 33435 and 33426, the reason is simpler: replace the roof once, and run the attic cooler on a block house that holds heat. Several Boynton associations have architectural standards, and a few still expect Spanish tile on a primary roof; we check before we quote so nobody holds a proposal the committee will refuse. Molsbee Roofing has been a family business since 1975, based a few minutes up the road in Lake Worth Beach and working Palm Beach County, Jupiter to Boca Raton, and we have done about a dozen roofs in Boynton since spring. Where metal is permitted, the job begins under the panels: old roof off, plywood inspected and repaired, a high-temperature self-adhered underlayment rolled over everything, then panels formed to the length of each roof plane and fixed on concealed clips so no screw is exposed across the field to back out or weep, or 5V fastened through with stainless screws where a cottage or a boathouse near the marina calls for it. On the water the panels are aluminum, the clips and fasteners stainless, the edges hemmed and sealed, and every flashing the same metal as the roof. The City of Boynton Beach permits the work and inspects at dry-in and final. Free roof inspections: a roofer measures, photographs the deck, and writes standing seam, 5V, tile and shingle side by side for your own house. Financing options are explained at the inspection if you ask. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 561-318-8624.
