Standing seam is priced above shingle on the same house, and on a river address it is often the better long-term spend because its fixings stay out of the salt. How far above depends on the panel, its gauge and finish, the trim and fastener grade, the roof's shape and how much deck needs replacing.
Inland, where salt is not the issue, shingle can be the sensible choice and we will say so. The free inspection gives you both prices in writing.
